Endless Days
Another day ending. It has been one of those days where I can't remember how it started out. Seems like every passing day I wake up a little earlier and go to sleep a little later. At this rate it won't be long before I walk past myself while getting into bed, seeing my other self preparing for work after just waking up. Tawny is swatting at me, trying to get my attention as I am typing this. Thinking about getting her a companion pet to keep her company during the days, but can't seem to find the right one yet. Doesn't seem like another cat would be a good choice. She recently attacked her own reflection in a mirror, thinking it was a visitor. She does seem to have a passion for small dogs. But a dog would have to be let in and out throughout the day, so that would not work out well. Will have to ponder this some more.
The house has been too quiet lately. My carpet installer stopped by yesterday to take measurements of the lower unit. The new carpet should be installed sometime next week which will enable me to show the place. Hope to have some new tenants in for January.
Will be a busy day tomorrow, of course. Have to pull up the rest of the old carpet and bale it for garbage pick-up on Thursday. Will try and get twenty winks in and rest my jellied brain for a bit.
