Wallace has grabbed a few bites to eat from whatever was convenient in the kitchen, but he'd feel a lot better about eating anything at all if he'd contributed his fair share. He'd also be willing to cook, if such services were needed. Anything to keep himself busy until the logistics people find a way out of here.
--Now he's heard tell of a mall in this rundown town, but he's yet to head out in search of it. He is fairly certain, however, that he saw a map down in the common room, and makes a note to check it later, but for now he is relaxing.
The bed is not particularly comfortable, the springs are sprung and the mattress lumpy, but it's quiet and there's no one asking him questions or trying to kill each other.
One might wonder what he's thinking about, lying there so quietly. And no, it's not the woman hanging on his wall. He's actually wishing he'd had more weapons on his person when he went to see Purvis, though he realizes that would have been unreasonable. He's also regretting being here. It's beginning to remind him too much of the war - a time he'd put behind him. He doesn't care for the violent angry part of himself, and keeps it suppressed 95% of the time, but it's more difficult in an unknown place.
At least he was used to the dangers of Basin City. At home he knew what to expect.
The plus side? He's not seen any cops here, so far.
