bank holiday
well in a day and a half we will be in prague and i am really very excited. my first real holiday since april and really that doesn't even count since it was just back to nyc. this is somewhere NEW and EXCITING. I am looking forward to totally relaxing, seeing beautiful sights, having romatic settings to hold hands to and drinking cheap delicious dark beer. plus we will meet up with my pal belinda who i went to Purchase with. She has lived there for a year or so and will put us in the know.
so it seems as though i have made a new friend (somethng of a rareity over here for me so pardon my excitment). she is from san fran but has moved here to do her masters at the edinburgh college of art. shes really cool and we have a lot of similar qualities (esp being bitchy when hungry and hating flakey people). so thats very nice and when i get back i think we will go dancing at the egg and maybe plan a day trip to the highlands.
did i mention that we are finally getting a new hoome computer since ours died a billion years ago? finally, i will be able to use the net and download pictures and do whatever it is normal people do. this wont happen til december but its nice to have a light at the end of a very dark computerless tunnel.
