ho hum
this job hunt has teetered between very depressing and boring to semi-hopeful. i guess today i am leaning towards the semi-hopeful side, and not all due to a completely dilutted mental state. i had lunch yesterday with my boss from the film fest (took me for dim sum at this yummy vietnamese place!) and we had a good chat about what i want to do and stuff. he knows people and is gonna see what he can find out plus he will give me some ad-hoc work to do for the film festival a day or two during the week. that to me is good stuff because i just want to keep busy, keep my foot in it. i also met the woman in charge of film education at the art house cinema where the film festival offices are and i left my resume for her in case she needs help in the new year. so we will see.in the meantime i went to some temp agency last night where they seemed to think i could get this p/t gig next week thru to xmas at some student union office in some college. that would be good because i need some money for xmas presents like for real.
reading pintucks lj entry made me want a new bag so bad. her orla kiely one is really nice.that designer is huge in japan. but i dont know what kind i want now. it sucks when you are so low on cash because you think of all these amazing things you want but are just out of your reach due to income flow...
