Daycare Swindlers Reunite for the Culpeper Rock Academy
Message from the Daycare Swindlers:
For those of you who live in the towns of Culpeper and Warrenton or one of the noble hamlets that lie nearby, you may have heard of the Culpeper Rock Academy. It is a fledgling school dedicated to educating the young in one of the great vocations: Rocking the Fuck Out. The school offers music lessons, helps young musicians learn their craft and serves as a networking location for players looking for the likeminded. They also do shows on Saturday nights and have hosted some pretty great acts. If you’ve got a little age on you, two things are clear: 1) This is wicked cool and 2) Any time you get kids gathering in the name of rock, there’s gonna be civic interference.
And such is the case with The Culpeper Rock Academy.
The town and the CRA’s neighbors waged a baseless legal battle against the school. The ill-advised attempt to evict the CRA had two definitive outcomes. The first is great news for our heroes. The Rock Academy stays. The second is unpleasant. The founder of the CRA, Keith, sank a good portion of his life’s savings into not only building the school but into defending it.
So, the Academy survives but they are wounded.
Keith has been nothing but generous to Rude Rock Family. He’s also given Supreme Commander, Two Man Advantage, Eclypsio and Federale opportunity to rock Culpeper. In short, this fucker is family. And when family is in trouble, we come together as one.
To that end, we’ve decided to put on the costume one more time. It might fit a little bit tighter. It’s got some holes in it cuz the moths have been at it. But it will still kick some ass.
So, it is with great pleasure that we announce the Victory Party For the Culpeper Rock Academy:
