srsly ppl? what-the-fuck??
so, yea. i sell a lot of shit on ebay these days and for the most part, transactions are easy, efficient and without incident - but every so often there is a problem.
usually it's something lame like i'll buy something and the seller doesn't actually ship it, which paypal takes care of. or someone pays me with an "e-check" which takes like an additional 4-5 days to clear and the buyer will get all huffy that it took awhile to receive the item, even though i specifically state "e-checks are discouraged as they take an additional 4-5 business days to clear"
but this latest incident is truly awesome. i have sold off all my gba/ds games (except 3, thanks ange!!) and one particular game has a problem. not that there is anything wrong with the actual game itself mind you, it plays just fine, but it seems that USPS squished the BOX of the game and the guy wants me to give him a refund................ BECAUSE THE BACK BOTTOM LEFT CORNER IS SQUISHED. the guy sent me like 6 2MB pictures showing me the detail of this. now, maybe, just maybe i'm being crazy - but i thought most people bought video games to uh, ACTUALLY FUCKING PLAY THEM? or is teh new hottness just staring at the back of the game boxes? i mean, i don't know. i'm not on myspace. i don't watch tv or listen to the radio. is looking at video game boxes what's hot in tha streets?

the guy has even gone so far to 1) accuse me that the game was like this prior to shipping it (which it wasn't, although the pictures i have can't actually prove this) and am thus scamming him 2) say i'm an idiot because i didn't take enough precautions when shipping the game to ensure that it would withstand being run over by a postal truck (even though i shipped it in a padded bubble mailer which proved to be enough protection for every other game i shipped so far) 3) plans to leave me negative feedback if i don't give him a refund!
now if the guy didn't already say the following things above, i might have been sympathetic enough to give him like, a partial refund or something but knowing this guy he would take my money and still leave me neg. feedback being the whinny ass he apparently is.
so, i guess i'm gonna have to do the typical ebay thing and leave him negative feedback for leaving me negative feedback. i mean, what choice do i have? say good-bye to you 100% positive feedback, douche.
