Finals continued...

Yesterday I had my bio and english finals. I needed to get 181 points on the final out of 200 to get an 80% in my english 100 class, but her tests are really damn hard and I didn't think I could do it. I got my grade back early: 92 on my essay and 90 on short answer. Heres to making the cutoff by half a percent.

Bio didn't go as well; I somehow completly forgot everything I knew about the lobes of the brain, neurons, neurotransmitters, etc. They accounted for about a third of the test. However, I wrote a damn good essay and going in to the final I had the highest grade in the class (101%) so I'm pretty sure I get an A. I also got my lab practical back, scoring 100%. Since the practical was half of the final grade, I'm thinking I got a high C/low B on my final, and the final is only worth about a quarter of the grade in the class.

Tomorrow I have a presentation on the history of terrorism based on my research paper and an econ final. I have a B in econ, and its a high school class not a college one so theres less emphasis on the final. My international relations class is really damn hard; I'm hoping to pull off a C with this presentation (just like half the class). English 4 in class essay on the little prince as well, which should be easy.

So, it looks like I managed to save my grades this semester:

Health Science (1 unit): A
Indoor Soccer (1 unit): A
Biology 110 (4 units): A
English 100 (3 units): B
PoliSci 130 (3 units): C

College GPA: 3.25

Thats kind of a bitch; you need a 3.3 to get on the deans list, but I'm pretty happy with it. Transfer agreements usually look for a 2.8 or higher college GPA.

Today I was supposed to go in to middle college from 12:20 to 3. I was woken up by the telephone at 12:15. I decided my time would be better spent studying in the library than studying up there.
