I had a wonderful birthday. It was a perfect birthday.

When I woke up I ran into my parent’s room and started asking them where my balloons, my cake, my cell phone, and my car were. They laughed, hugged me, wished me a happy birthday and then I let them know that I wasn’t kidding J.

So then they gave me a cell phone (which will replace my 4 year old one). It’s not too fancy but that is just what I wanted. Oh, then I got a call from my brother wishing me a happy birthday and then a call from my uncle Armando and my grandma. I loved talking to them.

So then Michael came over. Lets see if I can remember all of this right. Oh yes, he gave me his parents present. OMG, it is the most beautiful thing ever. They got me a jewelry box with this beautiful necklace inside. Ah, I will have to show you guys a photo later.

Oh yes, them he gave  me Clue #1 which consisted of a quote and then his own poem. So I figured it out and we went to a park. At the park we walked around and oh yes! He gave me my first present! Those of you who know me well know that I have a passion for St. Thomas Aquinas. Well, Michael gave me Tommy’s (as Michael likes to call him) Summa Theologiae. So after freaking out about the book he gave me the second clue.

The second clue led us to “I Love Flowers” a store where they sell…well flowers. There we picked up a beautiful arrangement of white flowers. So then we headed back home to drop these flowers off.

Okay, I’m not sure if I’m forgetting something but then he gave me the next clue which led us to Grapevine mall. There we ate lunch at Dickey’s and then we looked at some turtles in a Mini Pet Shop. Since I’ve always wanted a turtle he was going to buy me one. This is the greatest thing ever, so then we didn’t get the turtle because I thought it was way too expensive for a turtle that is 1-inch in size. So I told him he could get it for me some other time. So then, as we were walking we saw one of those machines with the stuffed animals inside that you pay .50 cents and get one or attempt to get one with a claw. And OMGGGGG, we saw turtles in there. Not real ones of course. So Michael tried the first time and he didn’t get it. I had 50 more cents so I decided we should give it one last try. And so he did and he actually got it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So perfect, so perfect. His name is Herbert/Bob/Frank. I’ll bring it to school on Monday.

So after this perfect event he got me a cherry truffle at Grapevine (which is my favorite thing in the world).

After this he gave me another clue and we headed to Josh’s house. There we saw Marcie and Allen and they gave me a champagne truffle! I also got a superwoman cup and jellybeans. So we stayed with them a while and talked about various things. I love them. They are also perfect. Oh, then we called josh but he did not answer. Someone is on Adri’s S-H-I-T list J. Oh yes, here Michael also gave me one other gift- a beautiful promise ring. Photo later.

After this we headed back home which is when my neighbors gave me their gift of cookies and money. And then Michael and I headed to La Calle Doce. I actually refused to solve this clue as it had math in it and I refused to do anything with math on my birthday. So Michael was forced to tell me. AT La Calle Doce we had yummy food and this guy playing guitar sang Las Mananitas, El Columpio, and Dos Palomas al Volar. It was perfect, just perfect.

Well the rest of the day I’d rather not talk about but it was also ‘just perfect.’

Today I found out that my uncle Angel from California and my best friend Geo called yesterday to wish me a happy birthday. So basically, most of the people that I love more than the world itself I was able to see, or talk to, or tried calling or left a message. This makes me happy.

And today I am celebrating my birthday with my family. Yay. Perfection.
