Saw PotC: Dead Man's Chest. Thur. night/ Fri. Morning. Went to the midnight showing, dressed to the gills. And I do make a dead sexy pirate if I do say so myself.
Now down to the nitty gritty.
As we all know it's the solomn duty of the movie geek to be as critical as possible. And honestsly, even though it looked like it was going to be good, I went into this expecting to be disapointed in one way or another. ...
OMFG! ... In case you didnt hear me... O... M... F-ing... G!!!
I know I'm going to have a million peeps screaming "blasphemy!", but I'm dangerously close to saying that it was better than its predicessor...
Blasphemy! ...did I say that? must've been a reflex action
It brought back all that we loved about our favorite swash bucklers and scaliwags, but without killing the jokes. And it kept everything fresh.
Jack replaces "savy" with "bugger" as his prominent catch phrase
new fight scences, with the same ol' Pirates humor, keeps us rolling in the aisles. or Isles that is...
don't worry, you'll laugh.
It's WAY more grown up and quite a bit sexier.
And the fact that I went with a bunch of nerds also playing pirate, made it that much better. I'm actually thinking of going back to see it again
