i need more of it.
i was so prepared to do this awesome and informative entry, but i spent all my time catching up with my friend's list. *sigh*
today is my first day off (if you count three hours being "off.") since the 8th. i was going to spend my time doing something fun, i actually think i might nap. LOL i'm so burnt. and it's only going to get worse....
i got a part-time job.
i know some of you are saying, "when the hell is she going to have time for that?" LOL (i know, i said it myself.) but we really need the money now. it's only for the month of may and half of june, but i was told that it could turn into something "seasonal." it's at the Garden Factory. thankfully it won't have anything to do with the actual plants and me taking care of them. i barely managed to keep daniel's class sunflowers alive over spring break. LOL i'll be in the "Gift Shop" section of the store, where they sell the candles and fake floral arrangements. i can wield a mean feather duster. *grin* i'll be working every monday, wednesday and friday from 5-9pm. and every sunday from 12-5. i think the thing that made me take it is the fact that it's only temporary. but they really pick up around christmas time and then they do this huge inventory and close down during the winter months so my neighbor (who got me the gig) thinks that they'll call me at those times as well and see if i want to pick up some extra cash. kinda cool. i start on monday. daniel's not crazy about the idea. he hates to go to bed with me not home. (he dreaded tuesday nights during volleyball season) i told him it's only for a short time but that doesn't make the guilt go away. *sigh* plus i'm going to miss his first ever soccer practice. he told me that made him sad. *sigh again* i'm going to try and work something out so that i can actually be there. here's hoping they'll work with me on that one.
i've run out of time for updating. blah! if i don't sleep this afternoon, maybe i'll be back. in brief....
everything else is going okay. busy busy busy. getting my hair colored and cut on saturday. very excited. i'm going back to my roots (pun intended) and getting it colored a darkish brown with some sandy colored highlights. i'll feel so much better when that's done. it's gotten so long and it's well overdue for a color. AI was a shocker last night. i'm not disappointed by who went, i just didn't think it was "her time" yet.
