The Isle of Thyme - Kai and Ellis Make Beautiful Music Together
Kai Daemon is starting to dread going to work at his nightclub, Club Crimson. Not for the reasons of drudgery or boredom that others find unpleasant about their jobs, but because of a hot and sweaty atmosphere that Kai is beginning to find most difficult to ignore. The perpetrator of this aforementioned atmosphere is a completely unsuspecting Ellis Stone, Kai’s employee.
Actually, truth be told, Ellis is not completely unsuspecting. He has noticed Kai’s odd management style; such as standing idly about and staring at Ellis with some flimsy excuse of making sure he was “doing the job right”.
This ruse was beginning to run thin and Kai well knows it. Really how much supervision does a person need to mop the stage floor? Finally sick of this, Ellis decides to say something.
