Additional Details: Content for both the sims 2 and 3 is welcome, however we don't accept uploads of sims. All posts are tagged to make finding content easier; you can choose by download type or the specific poster. There's also a search bar on the profile.

Community Focus: Warm fuzzies for all!
Description:
Everyone likes to be appreciated, don't they? This comm was started
originally to share in holiday spirit of letting others know how much
they're appreciated by other members of the sims community. So far it's
working best as an annual event in December where people submit their
name and others anonymously leave warm fuzzy messages for them.

Community Name: simsecret
Community Focus: PostSecret style entries for the Sims game.
Description:
SimSecret is based on the PostSecret project, where community members
post secrets related to the game (including characters, stories, sites
and players), or by using a screenshot to tell a non-game related
secret.
Basically, the concept here is to create an image that
describes and illustrates a secret of yours--something you've never told
anyone--and to do so anonymously. Sometimes you just need to get
something off your chest!

Site/Community Focus: General information and discussion on aspects of the Sims 2 game and community on livejournal.
Description:
A community for the game the Sims 2. Membership is open to all, newcomer and resident sims expert alike. Rules can be found on the userinfo, they are guidelines to keep the community manageable and to cut down on clutter and repeat posts/questions. On the userinfo, there is also a link to a search engine to find posts within the community, and we have a tag system available to also aid in looking for specific topics. In the community itself, you can find everything from questions and tutorials to links to stories.
Contact: Mods can be contacted via the public post on the moderator community (comments are screened for privacy), or by the moderators' emails, listed in the userinfo.

While we've all heard the saying "there's no such thing as a stupid
question", sometimes people can be too embarrassed or shy to ask in
another community, they don't know where to ask, or don't have an
account to ask with. sims-101 lets you ask your questions anonymously,
so you can get the answers you need. Any questions related to the game
are welcome, for any platform or version, about game play, sims
communities, editing and posting pictures.

Description:
Simfic50 is a low pressure community for prompt writing using the Sims Gaming Platform, based on, and inspired by the fanfic100 concept. All fiction and machinima posted here remains the copyright of its creators. All rights reserved.
Your task is to write 50 Sim Fiction pieces. That means Sim Photo Stories - narrative + pictures. Or if you prefer, you can also create Sim Machinima, or Comic/Manga style stories. These should be based on your original concept, not an interpretation of existing work created by someone else. These can all centre around one family, several different Sims or specifically created Sims for a particular prompt. Its completely up to you do one off stories, or a series, or a bit of both.

Community Focus: Writing - Challenges and Discussion
Description:
SimHaven was created in an effort to give new Sim Story Writers a place
where they are able to discuss both technical and creative issues when
it comes to writing a sims story.
It is also a place where those
who have been telling sim stories for a while are able to post articles,
tips and tricks and general knowledge on how they maintain their
stories - their creative process as well as how they keep boredom at
bay.
Discussions for Simhaven can cover everything from how to begin right through to the final product, including:
+ Coming up with a plot
+ Creating characters
+ Fiction writing
+ Set design
+ Using animboxes and poseboxes
+ Post processing of screencaps
