My Weekend.

On Friday I left work directly to go to Somerville to visit some old roommates w/ my longtime friend Chuck. They said it wasn't the same without us, and missed my pessimism and cynicism. We saw the ATHF movie, which was funny, but not consistently so. After supping on a vegemite and butter sandwich I caught some rest on the sofa. The following day Chuck and I got some hotdogs from Spike's Junkyard Dogs and went back to Shrewsbury.

In Shrewsbury I went to a BBQ and watched the RedSox. Ate some excellent cheeseburgers and chicken tenders. Couldn't really focus on the game so I started reminiscing about my childhood. This is not an exhaustive list but my paernts gave me at least the following weird things to play with:
    1. A toilet flapper (I was obsessed with plumbing as a child for some reason.)
    2. An adding machine
    3. A carburetor.

Mike's dad Rich asked me if it was a 2 or 4 barel carburetor, I said I didn't know, because I was 5 years old. After that we watched the Tenacious D movie, which was pretty good. We also watched The Color of Money and part of Rules of Engagement. Mike had no idea that Paul Newman sold salad dressing whereas when I was a kid I knew him as the guy on the salad dressing bottle.

Good times.
