THANK YOU!
I just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone that has left me a kind comment or PM these last few months. With so much that's been going on these last few months, it was nice to get an email just to ask how things were going or to see how Noah was doing. Being that I'm not a very active member anymore, it was really unexpected to see that. Several of you are friends over on Facebook as well and know a little more about what's been going on lately.
In addition to everything that's been going on with Noah, we unfortunately have been dealing with several other issues.
My father-in-law was diagnosed with stage 4 throat cancer a few months ago. Its currently in-operable, but their hoping with chemo and radiation therapy they can shrink the tumors small enough to be removed surgically. In the meantime he has to have a treachea placed so he could continue to breath on his own.
The worst of all, which I haven't really talked about much with anyone. My only sister Kimberly passed away July 20 at the age of 25. Some of you who are friend of mine on Facebook already knew about this, but I never really shared anything more other than she has passed away. Kimberly had been batteling drug and alcohol problems for about 5 years now. The last year or so she had gotten significantly worst. She had been in and out of the hospital at least a dozen times with accidental and intential overdoses. Unfortunately on July 20th, a friend that was staying in my sisters apartment with her chose to leave his gun in the apartment when he headed out for his night time job. After shotting up with heroin my sister took her own life that evening.
I don't mean to make anyone feel sad or feel pitty for me. I just wanted everyone to understand how much those little words of encouragment and kind thoughs and prayers have meant to us these last few months. You'll be in our thoughts and prayers as well!
