First things first - if you haven't already guessed, Gone, my story with sims illustrations, is on a probably permanent hiatus. There are a few reasons for this, but it pretty much boils down to the fact that it turns out I do not like doing sims photo shoots. If anyone out there is dying to know how the story ends up, the whole thing is written ( Read more... )

I would like to know how "Gone" ends, if you don't mind sharing. I have it bookmarked on my desktop, and check on it every now and again.

I'll also be following along on this one, good start. Nice backstories.

After a start like that, I am looking forward to seeing what will happen to these people!

Thanks for your interest! I'm hoping I'm not being way too ambitious! It wouldn't be the first time...perhaps one family per go-round will get the star treatment and the others will get the "and then so-and-so grew up" treatment. Because writing the first update is taking a very long time...

No pressure intended, I just liked your style. I sometimes skim families for a while too, but it is hard because they clamor for attention. So I end up writing more (and slower) than I planned to. ^_^

Oooh, I love seeing new starts!

(and I like seeing ones with less custom content--not that there's anything wrong with custom content, I have lots, but super fabulous designer looking sims start to get boring after a while. YEA for sims that look like sims!)

Starting has been really fun. I've been all over the place with custom content, but frankly I can't get behind my sims being more glamorous than me. All of these sims are random dice rolls in CAS (I rolled until I got something I liked, though, and sometimes picked skin colors so people would "match" their families better). The names are all randomly generated, which explains "Rochell" with no e.

I'm still trying to figure out how to keep the story vibe of the neighborhood without making it take the rest of my life to play.
