I'm doing all this work lately, so my simming has been suffering. Anyway, another update from the sickeningly happy Haynes/Cox household.
Sometimes Cheryl wondered if there was more to life than just having and raising kids. Time to herself was a distant memory.
Jere and Taylor (and Komei, of course) were the loves of her life, but there were times she considered hiring a nanny and running off to work.
But then again, she did love babies. Really, she thought she was just lucky Komei was so understanding of her desire to have a large family. And she was probably a much better mother than she would be a career woman.
After all, Taylor was doing really well in school. All his teachers said he was a joy to have in class.
He was well liked, too. That little Denae Thigpen was over all the time.
The one thing Cheryl knew she would change if she could was the pregnancies. She felt like she was always pregnant, and never had the energy for anything more than the bare necessities of staying alive. Komei was happy to pick up the slack around the house, but Cheryl wished she could feel like something other than an eating, sleeping, baby incubator all the time.
Well, until someone invented a way to obtain children without going through the inconvenience of pregnancy, Cheryl knew she would keep doing it. Moments like seeing Jere grow up on his birthday made it all worth it.
Bonus pic:
Gabe, the townie who died years ago in this house playing with Eli's rabbit toy, scares Taylor multiple times a night. Poor kid is going to get a complex - he can't get more than 3 hours of sleep without being attacked by ghosts!
Little Jere is the meanest sim in the neighborhood so far - one whole nice point.
