Signals From Strangetown
Today I played the Worthington family in Strangetown. I have no idea when I last played them, but judging by the tags on my journals not since before I started my LJ. Mostly just a short picspam as opposed to any real storytelling. I am tired and feeling grumpy. Yup.
Frances J. Worthington III married his college sweetheart, Holly (originally a dormie). The two live in the Bluewater Village area of Strangetown with their unfortunate looking twin daughters; Cecily and Fralie, who are about to start high school. Frances works in the medical career as a General Practitioner and Holly works in the law enforcement career as a Security Guard. The family also has a dog named Scout, who works in the showbiz career as an Understudy.
As well as working towards her ultimate goal of becoming Captain Hero, Holly has written three novels and is hard at work on her fourth.
Cecily: "Do you think the kids at school are right about us looking like aliens...?"
Both girls somehow inherited the worst two possible combinations of features from their parents. However, things got a little better when they became teens.
Teen Fralie.
Scout. This is maybe the only time he has ever been in the backyard.
Cecily.
Fralie and Holly bond over homework....
Frances: "Huh. Where the hell is this supposed to go?"
Frances: "Nooo! I can't lose another patient!"
Frances is a very special doctor. The people of Strangetown sure are lucky to have him!
Cecily and Scout, relaxing after a long day...
Frances got lucky. Holly got knocked up again. Damn you, ACR!
What else happened?
Cecily gained a cooking point.
Holly was promoted. She is now a Cadet.
Holly taught Fralie to study.
Fralie won the SimCity Scholar's Grant.
Frances gained 2 mechanical points.
Cecily became friends with Juan Harris (a BV townie).
Fralie took a part time job in the law career.
Cecily won the SimCity Scholar's Grant.
Cecily won the Hogan Award for Athletics.
Fralie gained a creativity point.
Fralie gained a cooking point.
Frances was promoted. He is now a Specialist.
Holly gained maximum enthusiasm in film & literature.
Frances became friends with Pascal Curious.
Fralie gained a cleaning point.
