The Fennell Legacy: Generation 4: Chapter 3
Why yes, another teaser image that is a spoiler... however, I won't tell you this adorable little fellow's name just yet... you'll have to read on and see for yourselves! And on a mostly unrelated note, this will probably be the last Fennell entry I ever make on this computer. My dad got a new computer for Christmas (which incidentally I threw a whole bunch of money at my mother to make happen), and dad gave me his old one. Though it's nowhere near as good as this one, it does have Windows 7 on it, and in testing it out I've found it allows me to do all the internet things this computer refuses to let me do anymore, like use Rich Text Editor on Livejournal and bulk upload pictures on Imageshack (yeah, that's right - I painstakingly upload all my simming pictures one at a time!). And use Youtube, like, at all... Hence, it will become my internet computer, keeping my lovely simming computer safe from viruses. Now I just need a darn desk to keep it on!
In our last episode: Vada died twice but was saved by the love of her family, Des started a relationship with Nellie Frost from next door and Patricia gave birth to her second son, Burrich.
Gallagher is definitely Grandfather Of The Year. Amongst all his philandering, he still found the time to teach his grandson to walk. Win.
Burrich: This chair is too feminine for my liking... can I get out now?
This is Adam by niloublue, one of those exclusive faces she so amazingly contributed to my recent face template sets. I made the exclusives in to sims of the same name and threw them in Legacyville, because this hood is going strong and it'll be a long time before I'll need any new townies to spawn in Legacyville!
Geoff: "Mom! Dad! I got an A+! Come see my win!!!"
Heh. If this was real life, he would totally trip over on either the open door or the painting frames in the hall in his boyish excitement, then cry and need consoling, don't you think?
Gallagher: *mega-smooch!*

The lovely Night Siriocra by racetrackd dropped by to meet the Fennells. She spent the entire evening heartfarting over Russet, who was visiting also. That is not the way to marry in to this legacy, my dear. You should be concentrating your efforts on the three pre-pubescent heir candidates...
Night: "But they're just children."

Burrich: I'm potty trained and Grandpa's not....
Zara: *bes fierce*

Poor Patricia. She's still had no luck whatsoever in finding a job in the paranormal career. Still, she's written two bestselling novels during her pregnancies, so it ain't all bad.
I see what you did there, Des. Starting kitchen fires does not make me feel easy about your possible future as an ISBI spouse!
Des: "What?! But I have to marry in!"
Alopecia: "It tastes like burning...."
Patricia: "Owww! I didn't make it to the privacy of my beloved bathroom!"

Yup. Even Arden's swimmers are old-fashioned enough to want strong, healthy sons. Three of 'em.
See, I do actually play chance cards. I just don't usually post them, because I don't use a screencap program (yup, printscreen, alt-tab all the way for me! I can't put my trust in those programs when every legacy I ever read ends up with "and then for some reason Gadwin bitched out and I'm missing about 100 pictures) It's incredibly difficult to get a picture of both the choices and the outcome with my method, so I don't usually bother with either. Yup.
Arden isn't too worried about his demotion, though. Working nights was rough because he didn't get to spend as much time with his family as he wanted to. Or to spend his mornings in the garden, which he greatly enjoys.

Azaya: Don't you even think for a second that I'm gonna be one of Gallagher's floozies! Not gonna happen!
I wasn't... I was simply greeting you so that the family can get to know you, I promise (though I would love to get your lips in to this legacy sometime....)
Azaya: "Why is nobody paying attention to this baby? He was just lying here sleeping in his crib, all neglected."
Umm... well, though I don't agree with that being neglectful, the family is very busy this evening with multiple birthdays....
Adult Des. Isn't he handsome? I squee'd.
Des: See you soon. The next best thing to being a legacy heir is being a legacy spouse!
If Nellie still chooses you when the time comes, I approve... Now off you go to the townie lair...
Burrich: "I feel funny!"
He's so very Fennell. His first wish upon growing up was to become friends with his uncle Des (which meant I had to take the time out from playing to actually turn Des in to a townie just moments after he moved out instead of when there was a lull, as is my usual way).
Patricia, still searching the skies fruitlessly. Now, she's actually had the summon aliens ability since her early teens, but I want to give her every chance for it to happen randomly before I resort to that....
Arden is such a good father. He always wants to spend time with his boys, or buy them things. <3
Somebody wanted to be friends with Azaya (I think it was Patricia? I've forgotten..) and she brought along her friend, Mia by Libertine. So very pretty!
Rouge: He's so dreamy!
Gallagher: "Not that I mind, but we're just only starting to be friends and you climbed in to bed with me in that... uhh.. lovely ensemble last night.... is it just me or do we have a connection?"
I'd say Gallagher earned himself a new girlfriend, but Rouge was pretty much throwing herself at him. He hardly needed to try!
Burrich: "Look what I can do!"
It's summer in Legacyville, and all the Fennells (except the distracted Gallagher) have been fishing up a storm. Their fridge is filled to the brim with catfish and bass. Yet nobody ever wants to eat them...
No job yet, but Patricia has been working very hard on her third novel. A book about her lifelong relationship with Teddy, the family parrot (still alive!!!) She's actually finished it now, and it was another bestseller. She keeps Shilo close by so as to keep an eye on him while she writes.
Gallagher: "You sure are pretty, Kiki..."
Kiki: *swoon*
Tyrell: "How does he do it? How does he get every woman in Legacyville wrapped around his little finger?"
Gallagher: "Why don't you come inside and meet my family?"
Kiki: "Omg, yes please!"
Why yes, Gallagher is working on two girls simultaneously (as opposed to one lover at a time). I'd like to see just how far I can get him before he dies....
Kiki was the only girlfriend present at Shilo's birthday party. Gallagher learned discretion from his mother, Carrie.
He has that weird cheek thing going on, but I think he'll grow in to it completely as time goes by.

Burrich: "That'll be thirteen simoleons..."
Nathalie: "Don't I get a family discount?"
Burrich: "How exactly are you related to us?"
Nathalie: "Don't you guys have the internet? It's right here thanks to the amazing mikelisryker!"
Geoff may have reached the age of hormones, but he still turns his homework in on time. If only the poor kid knew that no matter how hard he studies, if he makes heir I won't let him reach that LTW of his. The generation five challenge is to fulfill fears, and that will indeed include me not allowing LTW careers to happen, even though that's not a specified part of the challenge.
Sherrie: "You guys. I'm gonna need backup here. There's a lady who wants to join the garden club and she has a really big yard."
Patricia wanted to join. Yup. The thing that gets me though, is that the game spawned Sherrie when there's already a garden club guy, Nico. He was friends with Bryn, the founder of this legacy. However, it gets stupider.....
.... the game spawned two more garden club members, neither of them Nico, to go over the garden. Still, I guess at least it gave me a chance to see my current face templates in action outside of a testing scenario... Incidentally, the family made it in to the garden club, but didn't get a perfect score, so no wishing well....

I don't know why this picture made the cut anymore. I just liked how busy it was, I think. And it made me laugh at the time. Also, penguin is visiting in summer. Yeah. That didn't freak me out that much, but there have been a couple of weird glitches in this playsession. Like Gallagher pulling a perfectly formed piece of birthday cake from the dartboard in the side yard. And eating it. That was.... interesting.... Patricia also pulled a potty-poopbag from someplace really random....
Gallagher is starting to fear that the dogs won't outlive him. I think he's right.
Carpool Driver: "Could you ghosts stop playing in the street? I'm trying to drive here!"
They're ghosts. You could drive through them, you know...
Carpool Driver: *honks horn obnoxiously and frequently*
Gallagher: "I think I'm in love with you...."
Rouge: "I expect no less."

Arden: "Now you see, dear, this hail is excellent for fishing in, as the drops on the water will cause the fish to go in to feeding mode. And I have lots of other great fishing tips, too..."
Patricia: "You know, I have been fishing in this pond since childhood. Not to mention I've caught more fish than anybody who lives here. Why don't you go take a shower or something?"
Arden: *lectures forever and scares away all the fish with his loud talking*
Gallagher has already started work on Amaranta, who is very willing....
Addie comes over often. And does win things like bathe Shilo autonomously. She has very set ideas about which Fennell boy will be heir, but she's definitely going about things the right way. Establish bonds.
Shilo had a birthday. Isn't he freakin' adorable? <3 <3 <3 I think Addie might be on the right track after all...
Slow dancing in the moonlight is a surefire way in to Amaranta's affections.

I'm sorry, sweetie. Gallagher can never again belong to just one woman....
Geoff: Some of those stars look an awful lot like..... beees! Run!
Yup, Addie has earned a place in Shilo's heart forever. Even if it just turns out to be his first friend outside of his immediate family, and never anything more....
Shilo is definitely gunning for the heir title, too. He already has more cooking points than any child in my game, ever. He loves it!
Gallagher: "Ummm... could you go make scary noises elsewhere? I'm trying to get some sleep here..."
