New Bedlam Asylum: Day Seven
Welcome back to New Bedlam Asylum! Here are the highlights of Day Seven:
Scotty likes to put Darla on the kitchen floor, but never for very long. Sometimes I think he's just kidding around with her. Unfortunately for him, she's not really old enough to laugh....
Norabelle. Finally a cadet!
Scotty, like "Harry" before him, has taken up martyrdom. Norabelle is at work and the only bed is free.
Norabelle: Ugh, babies stink! FML!
Norabelle: "Oh. It's you...."
Stuart: "You're not still superstitious about my being the harbinger of death, are you?"
Norabelle: "You'd better not be. I mean it."
Norabelle: "What kind of sicko gets their thrills from knocking over the trashcan at an asylum?"
I don't even know. I totally missed it happening.
Norabelle: "Oh, hey! We're like twins! Legacyville Winterwear 'R' Us, right?"
Arizona: "Hells yes!"
Scotty saw Arizona for the first time. No prizes for guessing what he just did in his pants....
Arizona: "Stuart plays the piano beautifully, doesn't he?"
Scotty: *loses the power of speech in the face of such loveliness*
Scotty: *buuuurrp!*
Arizona: Ugh! Being crazy is no excuse for bad manners....
Arizona: "Was that... a ghost...?"
Scotty: *unconcerned glance in Sunday's direction* "Yup..."
Arizona: "Norabelle, this is without a doubt the best chocolate chip cookie I have ever eaten. What's your secret?"
Norabelle: "Uhh... chocolate?"
Norabelle: Doing the dishes again. Does nobody but me ever care about dirty dishes littering the kitchen?
Sunday: "Boo!"
Scotty: *facepalm!*
I concur. This is it, then. The End.
However, you will all be glad to know that things turned around for Scotty. Norabelle's absence from work at the police academy did not go unnoticed. An enquiry as to her wherabouts was quickly forthcoming. This enquiry led to the discovery of the neglect endured by the inmates of New Bedlam Asylum and all the recent deaths of inmates. The families of the inmates were up in arms and litigation was imminent. The government, terrified that the incident would cause trouble for all state mental institutions, called in their top scientists, who gave Scotty complete control of a special, top secret device which could reputedly bring back the dead. They promised all inmates their freedom as opposed to becoming inmates at another city asylum, on the condition that none of them would ever speak of the neglect again.
I think you can all guess who Scotty brought back first.....
All the inmates chose to live in a share house in Legacyville's Townie District. All but three...
Molly and her daughter Darla, along with the pregnant Sunday, chose to stay on in the asylum until better accomodation could be found for them. Darla grew up to look like an interesting mix of her parents, though her skintone sadly has eye makeup.
They still haven't been played, and along with all other inmates are now eligible for legacy spouse status in future...

I hope you all enjoyed reading New Bedlam Asylum. I can't believe how fail it turned out! None of my previous asylums have ever gone this badly! Such is life, I guess. Anyway, I enjoyed the experience and look forward to seeing the resurrected inmates as townies in Legacyville....
