The Fennell Legacy: Generation 3: Chapter 3
I apologize for the preview pic. I've been very sick (what do I mean, been? I actually haven't got any better yet!) and in my silly fever haze I saved and exited without changing the font color to what I wanted. Them's the breaks - I didn't have the original backed up! Also, the feeling very sick is the reason The Fennell Legacy is back to mini-updates for now...
In our last episode: Bijou gave birth to her second set of twins; Patricia and Rupert, Patricia won simgod Izza's heart with her lovely genetics and Gallagher was far from amused with his pregnancy.
Bijou: "I like this one... he has my eyes!" *is sleep deprived in the extreme!*
I like him too. I like each and every one of your children, Bijou. They're all beautiful in their own different ways.
Bijou: "What? You say you found Zara? Oh my god, thankyou! Yes, please come right away."
Carrie: "Did you hear that, Rupert? You'll finally get to meet your other puppydog!"
Thankyou, Anne Loveless! I have no idea why you didn't wish to be greeted - perhaps you're the most selfless sim in all of Legacyville? Simply content to do a good deed and reunite a family with their lost dog. I love you! I never thought much of you before, random townie wise, but now you have assured that if ever one of my sims has any interest in you, you'll be considered as a spouse. A good deed should not go unrewarded.
Russet: "Yay! Zara's home! No time to wait around in the crib! I've gotta see Zara!"
Ardeen, why are you in the paddling pool?
Ardeen: "The kids have never used it. Somebody should!"
You've got me there...
Zara: "Ardeen! I missed you most of all! Aren't you glad to see me?"
Zara: ".... I'll take that as a no! Ouch!"
Poor Zara. I don't know what the hell happened, but Ardeen beat her up three times in rapid succession, and now they are enemies! It makes me so sad! They were the best of friends....
It was an evening of many birthdays. First up was Leslie. She most definitely takes after her great aunt Natasha.
Leslie: "Ugh, this house is a cesspool! I'm going outside for some air..."
Leslie: "I don't get why they can't keep the place clean. Surely they could all pitch in and get it done?"
Heh, you have yet to tangle with the ever present nightly ghost attacks. Those keep them pretty darn busy fighting for their lives, whilst simultaneously trying to keep all the brood happy. Cleaning has fallen by the wayside, but surely now that you're more grown up you can maybe help out?
Time for the younger set of twins!
Carrie: "I sure hope nobody dies at this birthday party. I'm still scarred from the last one..."
Rupert. He's actually pretty darn cute! He's Carrie's favorite grandchild as well. She actually rolls wants to spend time with him and teach him things!

Patricia: "I don't wanna, Momma!"
Bijou: "No nonsense, now. You want to be a big girl like your sister Leslie, don't you?"
Carrie: "Come on, Rupert! Walk for Grandma! You're such a clever boy! Handsome too! You'll have all the girls knocking down the door someday..."
Rupert is the first of the children to learn to walk. Quite an achievement, all things considered. I am seriously amazed at the bond Carrie has formed with him! She has no question in her mind over who should be heir. She doesn't seem to realize it's not up to her!
And don't think I'd forgotten Russet! Quite the cutie! He is as mean as he looks, though...
Russet: "Pfft, what a dump! I can't wait to grow up and get out of here!'
Sonny: *is furious at her sister Liv for never even bothering to come mourn her passing*
Gallagher: I sense an evil presence in this house....
Yup. She's about to start a rampage! Get the hell out of the way!
Gallagher: "Aww, Patricia. No matter what anybody ever says to you, never forget that your daddy loves you and that as far as he's concerned, you're the most beautiful princess." Kids can be so cruel. Please, Simgod, don't let the other children make fun of her exotic appearance when she starts school. Please...
To take his mind off the future of his unusual daughter, Gallagher decided to spend some quiet time alone in the backyard. The beauty of the heavens eased the fears of this incredibly devoted father and he was soon moved by the sighting of his first ever shooting star.
Rupert has taken over ownership of Russet's rocket ship, but Russet doesn't care. He considers it a baby toy anyway, and besides, he has other things on his mind...
Russet: "Dad, Leslie said my pajamas are girlier than hers. Is there something wrong with a boy wearing pink pajamas that I don't know about?"
Gallagher: "Now, son, they're very snazzy pajamas. Do you think there's something wrong with wearing pink pajamas?"
Russet: "No. I like them!"
Gallagher: "Well, there's your answer, son. You should never be afraid to wear what makes you happy."
Russet: "Gee, thanks dad!"
Gallagher: *still remembers all too well what it's like to be a kid who doesn't wear what is considered conventional*
