Black Sheep - 43 Recolors of Corinne's Collectif Dress
When I first saw Corinne's Collectif Dress, I squee'd like a little girl. Why? Because I actually own this dress in real life. Granted, I don't own the red one. I actually own the neon green Collectif dress. But even so, I knew immediately that I had a recoloring project on my hands!
Of course, I started out making a neon green one like my own real life dress, and then I made a grey, as I have a very similar dress in grey. Then I thought, what the hell, make a few more. I ended up making 12 recolors in all to begin with.
Then I thought, why not jump on the bandwagon and attempt to give the dresses Pooklet's and Aelia's color actions? This was a little harder than anticipated. I actually only had Paint Shop Pro, but I hunted down a copy of Photoshop from a relative.
To my horror, the version of Photoshop that I obtained would only mostly apply the color actions! Nothing I did would make them stop erroring and skipping steps. All but maybe three color actions would skip at least one step. Some skipped as many as four.
So I ended up with a lot of very nice recolors, but they're not 100% Pooklet'd or Aelia'd. Hence I have named those particular colors things such as "Almost Shock Wave". I think they still look pretty good. All up, I ended up with 43 recolors, and you can have them all in one download!
I have only pictured my particular recolors, none of the semi-Pooklet'd or semi-Aelia'd ones I have added a preview of one of the Pooklet'd ones (very last picture). There are far too many recolors to picture them all, and I'm pretty sure most people know by now what those color actions look like. I did have a lot of fun with this shoot, however, as is probably obvious from the million pictures I did take!
All files are clearly labelled and the .rar contains 3 seperate folders with each set of color actions (Pooklet's, Aelia's and my own) to make things easy for you. I'm sure most of you probably aren't going to want all 43 like me!
The mesh is included and the dresses will show up in both everyday and formal categories. They should definitely be base game compatible as well. I should mention that this mesh does not have fat or pregnancy morphs! If somebody wants to attempt that, or has already done so, I'd be ever so grateful if you linked me to the mesh edit so I can use it in my own game!
