Sadness in the community...
The passing of a friend is never easy. Certainly I couldn't keep my eyes dry when I got up to read simsecret on Saturday morning and saw a message first up on my friends list (and with me, as probably with many of you who interacted with and cared about her, there was no interest on clicking on the simsecret link for this week).
6akalaka1 aka Rosie was always lovely and kind to me, and to many of us in the simming community. I would like to take a moment to say that she will be truly missed as a friend as well as a simmer.
My deepest condolences and sympathies to her family at this extremely difficult time.
... on a side note, and for later when it's more appropriate than now.... when Rosie was involved in making my face templates, as with everybody who donated their sims and time, I made a thankyou gift in the form of a special edition sim for each simmer made from breeding their original sim with another sim in the face template project. As it turns out, Rosie never clicked her download link and downloaded the sim I made for her ( several simmers didn't, I believe there may have been some lost links). I was thinking of sharing it as a tribute later on, but I don't know how appropriate that might be. What do you guys think?
