Question: Building tips and keyboard controls

Is there an easy way (keyboard control?) to force a window or door to flip around? I've been building with several doors and windows that have different colored "insides" and "outsides", and there have been times when I cannot. get. one to have its outside color be on the outside, no matter how I try to rotate it with the mouse or delete and replace. This seems to be a bigger problem when building on top of a foundation. Otherwise, I can sometimes cheat moveobjects on, flip it in mid-air, and then place it properly. But if the house is on a foundation, moveobjects on makes the window/door sink halfway down the wall when I try to place it.

Any tips? It's really frustrating to have an otherwise perfect facade with one or two windows inside-out!
