How long does your game take to load?
Thudd, too long. -.-' I think more than two hours. Which I think is terrible. But... eh, yeah. I have too many downloads. But I'm too lazy to throw the ones away I don't use (anymore). :')
When making a Sim, what do you prefer: adult male, adult female, teen male, teen female?
Teenfemale. I have more clothes, hairs and stuff for females. Most of them for adult women, but still I like to create tf's the most. =)
How long does your Body Shop take to open?
Ehrm... I have absolutely no idea. I don't even know the last time I used BS, but I think you can count that on one hand. Though I have been playing Sims for years. xD
Do you make more Sims in CAS or in Body Shop?
CAS. - Duh!
What's your favourite hair colour to put on your Sims?
Ehrm, brown I guess. Or black. Once in a while I choose blond and I occasionally give Sims red hair.
How many babies have your Sims ever had from one set of parents?
Uuuuhhh... I don't know! The biggest family I play with at the moment is this family. Peer Goeman and Diana Smid had six kids. But I remember playing with the Broke family in Pleasantview years and years ago. Brandy adopted lots of kids, but I don't think that counts because she didn't gave birth of them herself. And oh, of course! The 'De Bof' family!. Those Simmies are from my Dutch legacy. There are seven kids: Lynn, Nienke, Wietse, Dennis, Justin, Melvin and Auke.
How often do you experience a glitch?
Uh, often I guess. For example today. My game gives errors when I play too long without saving. So I saved a lot yesterday while playing with Kool, Siska and Sok Smid. Sok was a child when I started yesterday. When I left with saving and without errors and restarting the game, he was a teenager. Now he's a kid again, but the clothes he wore when I grew up are still in the closet. There's no other teen boy in that house. Never has been one too. Freaky. xD I have more examples, but let's stick by this one. =P
Do you make your Sims straight/gay/bi/lesbian very often?
What's often? A lot of Simmies from my Dutch story are. Justin gay and of course his huspand Jim is. Rosemary is bi. Noëlle is bi. Selena is a biseksual girl and Nienke is a lesbian. Uhh, I could go on for hours. OH! Tessa-Karen from the Smid family is a lesbian (see userpic). =3
Does your neighbourhood have a theme?
Neh. I play in different neighbourhoods and I don't change that much about the decoration and stuff. I only add houses, sometimes public lots. That's it.
How many downloads do you have in your game?
Like I said earlier in this meme; too many. I checked it especially for you guys! The answer is: exactly 15,0 GB. *Hides under the dinertable.*
Who is your favourite Body Shop CC creator (meaning skins, eyes, hair, makeup, etc.)?
Uhh... I downloaded a lot times ago. I haven't been playing for a while but since a week or 2,5 I'm back into Sims 2 again. That was the time I downloaded a lot. One year ago I used to go to sites like MTS2 or TSR2. But since I started updating my stories on LJ instead of the original Simssite, I started to know lots of LJ'ers that play Sims (2) too and make downloads. I'm not quite picky on downloading. I don't have a real favourite CC creator, I guess. =P
Who is your favorite CC creator for build and buy?
selenaq13. =3 I promised myself to try download stuff only if I realy need it, so I don't download that often anymore. Even Selena's stuff. She inspires me a lot, though.
How often do you play?
That's quite different... Like I said: "I haven't been playing for a while but since a week or 2,5 I'm back into Sims 2 again". Before that pause time, I played daily. Just like I did the previous 2,5 weeks.
Do you watch Sims machinima?
The whut? I'm sorry if I'm offending someone, but I've never heard of machinima... =P
Do you read stories/comics made with the Sims?
The question should have been: WHICH stories do you read made with the Sims? Better that it isn't, because I read that kind of stories a lot. My favourite ones are mariekjepower's, sanneke94's, maranatah's, rain8ow's, xbeccyx's, boolpropbea's, etc. etc. etc...
What expansion packs do you have?
All of them.
What are you views on building and decorating?
I like building houses - sometimes public lots - but I lóve decorating. I can spend hours and hours for only making one bedroom look messy. Of course it slows down my game, but that won't stop me from doing it. For example I once spend an entire night decorating Rosemary's bedroom.
What is some body shop CC that you tend to over use?
Eyelash from E-Studio.
How often do you need to use "Familyfunds"?
Never. xD Sims with a decent job earn money like water, you know. When I was younger I used to use katching or motherlode all the time. But cheating isn't that much fun. At least, not for money or something. I regular use snapobjects, move-objects and sometimes aging off but uncommon moneycheats.
Do you like doll Sims?
Nuh.
Have you ever killed your Sim(s) for the fun of it?
Uh, guilty. Eheheh. Nah, when I was younger. I can't remember the last time I did that. Must be years and years ago.
How old are you? When did you start playing?
Now I'm sixteen. And I was like eight when I started playing. Was... I... realy eight? 2004 was the year The Sims 2 was released, wasn't it? Hmm, anyhow. I played The Sims (1) before The Sims 2 even existed and started playing The Sims 2 from the start.
Do you ever base a Sims family after your own home life?
When I was younger I once made my family. But at the moment? Nope. By the way... I do have a Simself. Most of the Dutch LJ'ers I know have one too. I have the Simself's from some friends of mine next to my own Simself. Like Marieke's Simself. I don't play with them or something, but do use them by special occasions. For example when someone's having a birthday. Sometimes a make a birthdaycard, sometimes I build something or create a Sim for him or her. The Simself of the involved people show up in that stories too.
I made it? I made it! Whey, I thought it would take me like just five minutes. But it was a while ago I made such a long English post so I had to check interglot like for almost every question. I know my English isn't flawless, but as long as you guys understand me it's fine by me. ^.^
So, it seems like diner is ready. Mum is uncorking a bottle with whine, so I'm gone! =D
