The salesman at the Farmers’ Market was right, that Tamarind Pachadi [chutney] does work verrry nicely in toasted cheese… :-)

The “filter” in the college’s internet system has now started blocking not only LJ, Blurty and Gmail, as was previously the case, but Hotmail as well… :-(
And now the railways, at least on the routes around here, are banning bikes from being carried on peak-period trains... which means that I will no longer be able to cycle part of the way to/from work & get the train for the rest of the way, as I've done sometimes in the past when the weather was bad... and that if one of my bike's tires gets a puncture somewhere along the way, I'll now have to take the bike back to either home or work before proceeding to the station instead of just pushing it to the station [& onwards from the station where I detrain] to fix at my destination... :-(
