Woooooooo!
I installed TurboTax on my machine (the old e-machine Alexis gave me (the one which, importantly doesn't have a DVD drive which attracts the children like flies)) and started the preliminaries of our return. Now, I hate taxes, just the general idea of them and the fact that I stand to get more back than I put in and lots of other theoretical stuff that is never likely to change. That said, before getting through all of our deductions for Eli's medical expenses, we stand to get back about $5,100. Sweet. That's even more than last year and I made twice as much in 2005. Although that really isn't saying much. And I'm getting it done now so we'll have the money fairly soon. Instead of October like we have for the last two years.
