Guess what! I'm back, after a long absence, I'm bringing back the Goodie's. I know you missed them.
Faith and Herbert Goodie and their twins sons Jack and George.
This is totally my favorite hack. Look at them being so cute.
Monday morning starts with a family breakfast of champions: grilled cheese.
As per Binsonville tradition, here is the current state of the house. They have a decent nest egg. The interior of the house is close to finished, there's a couple bathrooms to finish off. So I'll probably be working on the landscape this week.
The twins headed off to school and Faith and Herbert got to work. They both need skill points for promotions. Faith needs a body point and Herbert basically needs to max three skills. Luckily Herbert has the day off.
I think this is the first time I've really made use of the thinking cap.
Kitty spam! Is it a Goodie chapter without some Bailey and Cymmi?
I finally redid the master bath. Now just gotta fix up the half bath and we're golden.
George brought Georgia Newson home. I know they're a little young to ship. But my puckish side must not be denied.
Faith had a bit of a rollercoaster of a work day. She got a bad chance card and lost $15k, but luckily she was still awesome enough to get a promotion to cat burglar.
Which meant her turn to use the thinking cap for skilling.
George brought Micah Gavigan home from school.
Wednesday is the boys' birthday! George is celebrating already.
Faith spends the morning fixing things around the house. She has more mechanical points than Herbert so it's a little safer for her to wield the wrench.
Faith hadn't gotten to do anything fun in awhile, so she invited Mary Gavigan over for a chess game.
Maybe Binsonville needs a spa...
Herbert used his days wages to help the boys pick out their birthday clothes. And yes they are still gonna be color coded, cause it's cute.
Next to the skating rink for a little fun for heading home.
Since their younger friends couldn't stay for cake, I had George invite all their teen friends over. Pinc, Gina, Gavin and Isaiah couldn't make. No one knows Isaiah, and the others strangely aren't friends with the twins. We'll have to fix that.
Soon it was time for cake. George grew up as a family sim, he doesn't have enough points for a second aspiration yet. He wants to have six grandkids. Which I haven't seen in this neighborhood yet I don't think. Jack rolled a popularity/fortune sim. And in a kilt lol, trying to be like Iain buddy? He wants to be Mayor. He's going to have to fight Sophie Miguel for it. Jack is straight and George is gay, oh well, there goes my silly George and Georgia idea lol.
The nanny showed up in the middle of the celebration, and was a little offended there were no more kids to watch lol.
Gabriella does have two bolts for Jack though....hmmmm
Faith managed to snag herself another promotion to counterfeiter. And poor thing has to be back at work in six hours.
Since Jack has a career related want, I had him look for a job. No luck for a political career today though.
No one is home, so of course, KITTEH SPAM!
Looks like George is working on fixing the Isaiah problem himself.
And Jack brought home Pinc Robertson.
I bought the boys some other presents based on their hobby interest. Jack is into tinkering and George likes games. I don't think I've ever had the axe throwing thing on a home lot.
The next house upgrade is a little landscaping. It's not done, but coming along nicely.
Could you guys not try for a baby. You guys are about to be elders for reals.
George, I don't know about making that face while you're holding an axe above your head.
See what I mean? Herbert is now back to being an elder. No more kids for you guys.
I forgot to get a picture of Jack getting a job, but he got a job as a door to door poll person thing. But he earned a promotion to campaign worker his first shift.
Since Jack wanted his first kiss since his birthday, I had him invite Gabriella over. I'd say she's down, she went right in for a flirt.
So long term, I may not let these two stay a couple. They're both popularity sims, and I would like couples with different aspirations. But they are super cute atm. Jack and Gabriella sitting in a tree. Let me know what you think, should I let these lovebirds staying together or be a teen fling?
George kinda has a thing for redheads and Chandler Platz just happened to walk by. I made him selectable to fix his stuck grow up aspiration. And I may have chosen to make him a logic sim to make him more compatible with George. George already had one bolt for him. So it's not completely manipulative.
Jack managed to reach the top of the career track with a promotion to intern.
George got his first kiss, yep, in the bathroom.
George rolled a want for a toymaking bench that didn't go away. Even through his date with Chandler. And with his OTH being games, I figured it was canon enough.
Did I buy catnip toys just for kitty spam? Why yes I did.
Sunday was kinda low key. Faith and Herbert spent time skilling on the chess table.
George wasn't hungry, but the rest of the family had a nice spaghetti dinner. Jack was craving some spaghetti.
Here's the final pictures of the house for the week. I'm pretty much done with it unless I remodel a room. I need to finish up the landscaping. I want to add some trees. Though they only have a little in savings atm.
That's it for this week in Binsonville. I had a lot of fun coming back and I'm looking forward to coming back and playing the Russos. But first is probably going to be another Ashen Valley update.
And maybe a Silver Bend update. See you guys soon!
