Binsonville: Clearing out the Sim Bin! Chapter 4: The Galleys
My chrome won't open T.T I know rebooting my computer would fix it. But I'm excited to play the Galleys. So we're doing this in Microsoft Edge! Nothing is going to stop me now!
We're here with the Galleys, the newest family of Binsonville. Check out my previous post to meet Murchadh, Markel, Hunter, and Pierce.
Here's their house. Or the beginning of it. I promise not every family will start out with a terrible house. I'm working on making clean copies of my Arbor Watch houses. This one I had to stay under this family's puny budget. So there's a lot left to do.
Here's close up's of everyone. Murchadh is a pleasure sim that wants 50 1st dates. Markel is a knowledge sim that wants to be hand of Poseidon. And Hunter is just plain cute. Pierce would be cute, but he is a meanie cat.
I send the kids to school just to get them out of my hair for a second. Murchadh gets busy digging while he waits for stuff to start happening.
He takes a job as a test subject in the science career. It was the highest paying job in the paper.
Murchadh also walked to work, so I'm watching Pierce be mean to the walk bys.
The usual welcome wagon comes by, but no one is home to greet them :(
Luckily Markel came home before they left. And he brought Isaiah Gavigan home with him.
Hunter brought Marik home. Nice that the boys are making friends so quickly. I have to get some girls in this neighborhood.
Once Murchadh got home, he helped the boys with their homework. I have a hack that makes homework random once the kids learn to study.
As much as I'm probably going to pick on Pierce, he is such a pretty kitty.
Totally forgot I downloaded this hack. Where kids and pets can share a bed.
Hunter brought home Marik from school again. So nice to see all the kids in the neighborhood becoming friends.
Murchadh earned his first promotion to lab assistant.
He also gets his first date out of fifty with Danielle Lillard.
Markel found a treasure chest! Finally can make some big progress on the house.
Pierce is up for a promotion too, if Murchadh can teach him to speak.
Progress on the house in the daylight. The upstairs is somewhat usable now.
Murchadh gets his second first date with Sarah McCarthy.
Pierce got his promotion to understudy.
Markel brought home Isaiah again. They're officially best friends.
Murchadh is now a field researcher!
Iain stopped by, it's about time Murchadh meets some neighbors.
Friday night was their first family meal. It's hard being a single parent. Luckily Markel helps out a ton.
Saturday there's a new park in Binsonville. Markel took Hunter and Pierce over to check it out.
I couldn't get the slides to work, but the boys still had fun. I was hoping some teenage girls would show up for Markel to meet. But no such luck.
Hunter taught Pierce to roll over for his next promotion. And now rolls the want to make Pierce roll over constantly.
I had Hunter call up Marik to come over, and bring Oliver along too. Hunter hasn't met Ollie yet.
Murchadh brought Goopy home from work. I dare say he is date number 3.
After a dream date, Murchadh admires the stars. I'm half hoping for an alien baby.
Murchadh is now a science teacher!
It's not a lot, but they had enough to decorate a room for Hunter's birthday.
Sweet little Hunter grew up to be a romance sim that wants to woohoo 20 different sims. I see Murchadh has left an impression on him. He also is our first gay sim. It's about time.
I let him go to the clothing store and pick out some new threads. His other outfit wasn't bad, but this one is better.
That's it for the Galleys. I would say they had a pretty successful first week. The house still has a long way to go. But now the boys can get jobs too. You guys stay safe and healthy.
