There is this online thing, SoftProtection. It something pops up when I'm on a certain site (ff.net, which I occasionally browse, although not for SV fic). Okay, so it pops up and tells me my computer is at risk or infected or something like that. But it doesn't actually say "your computer." It says "your PC." You can't close the little box that pops up to tell you this and so you have to click the sole thing in the little box, which makes a website open (I think it's a website) and it shows a scan that is allegedly being run on your computer.
Of course, I don't have a PC. I have a Mac. Thus, when the webpage opens with its image of the PC My Computer page, I go "Um, okay, yeah, don't have that on the Mac."
So, in the end, I just shut down the internet and then restart it and all is back to normal. Mostly I find it annoying because I have to shut down the internet and clearly I don't want to shut down my lovely internet.
I don't worry about my computer being infected. I think that's right since, well, clearly the webpage that claims I have an infected computer thinks I have a PC which I mostly definitely do not. It doesn't matter that the webpage keeps trying to convince me I have an infected PC; I just simply don't have a PC that could be infected.
LONG LIVE THE MAC!
So that is my computer stuff.
