Apparently the company I work for is desperate for doctors. So desperate that they have re-hired a doctor they fired in 1997. A doctor who was suspended for a year in 1999 (for diluting narcotics). A doctor who was subsequently suspended for two years in 2005 (for several offences, including underwriting prescriptions signed by American doctors). A doctor who can't even practice alone; he must be supervised by another doctor. This is the doctor the company has hired once more.
And if you didn't go on to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC and find the information about the suspensions, you would have no clue you are seeing a doctor with a questionable history. A very questionable history. It's crazy.
In another crazy vein, the company has also re-hired a MOA they fired in 2002 to be the manager of a clinic. This being, of course, the position she was fired from in 2002 for a variety of reasons.
Desperate times. Desperate times.
