Oh livejournal, how I wish I had more to say to you
I find that I come here less since they started that advertisement that you have to watch before viewing your friends page. That and the fact that I never really do anything post-worthy. Most of my days can be summed up properly in a Facebook status.
For those of you who didn't know, I bought a house. I closed on it on May 14th. It's in Wayne, near Wayne Rd and Annapolis.
We went to the World of Steam Expo in Dearborn for on Monday. I must say, it fascinates me. I am already making plans for an outfit to wear to it next year.
I put in for a transfer at work two weeks ago. Last week, I got my review and a request from my boss to stay. I got an apology from the Inbound Ops manager because I stated his behavior as my reason for leaving. I have to say I did consider staying, because I really like my boss and I don't mind most aspects of my job. But then some rude comments by a coworker reminded me that nothing was going to change. Meaning, all the things that made me sign my name on that job posting in the first place are going to remain exactly as they are. I start my new position next week. I'm hoping it works out.
