Turns out he spent some time researching diamonds and even took his younger brother for a day of shopping in the diamond district to find the perfect rock for me. He even brought his loop! My mechanic dude suddenly turned into a gemologist! No wonder his eyes were red… looking at diamonds really strains your eyes.
Sigh* I love you dork… you are one crazy dude. You have to be… you just asked me to be your wife.

Sunday was Meet the Parents for the Parents. I never saw my dad so well behaved! Haha.. It was great.
After that, his parents took me to a jeweler in Chinatown to resize my ring. I didn’t want to ship it because Tammy said there were many cases where rocks were swiped. So we went to a jewelry shop and asked about resizing. They were very professional…we were escorted in the jeweler’s workstation where we monitored him resizing my ring. Now its perfect! You can’t even see it was worked on. For two days Steven was so disappointed because he doesn’t like his things to be altered. He was going to get me another setting but I assured him that it would be fine. He said he’ll get me the 3 stone 1 carat each on our anniversary. Hehe. Neato!
Later on Christine, Jimmy, Steven and I headed uptown to check out some furniture’s at Crate and Barrels. Somehow we ended at Tiffany’s so we decided to check out the wedding bands. We are favoring the Lucida for him and the channel cut diamond all around for me. The salesman was awesome, he gave many suggestions circling around my solitaire in a very cool French accent. He reminded me clocks worth from beauty and the beast! He even told me that the band should be the ring inside because it is closer to my heart. I like him.
Still deciding, one more year to go.
