dinner with friends
sunday night, me, adrian, luis, brian, and april had our own little thanksgiving dinner since we won't be spending the holiday together. it was nice. i made the turkey!
that's right, the 18 lb turkey went from this...
to this...
it came out so tender and juicy! i've never made one before so i was really proud of myself. the boys were all surprised. they all admitted later that they were surprised at how well it turned out. they had expected a disaster.
the night cheered me up a little. we all sat and ate turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, etc. and we drank white wine. it was so good. we all couldn't move for a couple of hours. i can't wait until thursday when i get to eat with my family.
