Still here, just quiet
Life is pretty darn good, save for some workplace drama. I'm still waiting to hear if I get an interview for the Library Director job. (want, really, really want)...looking forward to Mom & Dad visiting in November, and possibly seeing the Dalai Lama...making friends very, very slowly, but I think I can say I have 4 "girlfriends" now, and the geek squad. Hard to believe we're fast approaching the 1 year on island mark...geez, the time has flown!
Write to Elly every week (almost) - she's hanging in thru her chemo and it's always such a joy when I actually get to talk to her.
I know I owe some people emails, letters, etc. - I haven't forgotten you!
