Update - Niger Delta

I got very good news last night - probably because of it's isolated location - next to the school at the far end of the village - the Niger Delta Friendship Library managed to survive the military attack on Oporoza! Sadly, it is true that most of the village has been destroyed and many of the people displaced. The library will serve as a much needed shelter as the people begin to return to their village and start the long process of rebuilding their lives and homes.

I'm grateful that the library survived.
