I knew this would be a little rough. My mind is bogged down with a thousand things that I need to get done and I have no idea where to start. I had done so well with switching back to day time hours, and then I get put on 3rd shift. Now I have to switch back to the night shift hours. It's no big deal though. I can handle it.
I think the main things I need to get done today would be to get the house cleaned up, prepare breakfast and lunch, go over to care for Gert before Jack has to go to his cardiac therapy, take a shower, and then take a bit of a nap. I already have my scrubs ironed and ready to go. In between that time I need to do the rest of the laundry to make sure it's done. Onna needs a haircut and a bath. I think I'm going to carry around a pen and paper with me to write down all of the things that I need to do so I can keep track of everything and make sure I get things done, plus short-term goals as far as the house remodeling.
It will be a busy weekend, that's for sure. My scheduler has me set up right off the bat working 4 on. It seems like it will be a little rough but I'm also doing my orientation, and I already know this facility since I have worked there before, but this will give me a chance to learn the few things that have changed and learn the new residents. I'm sure that within a week I will be settled into a routine. I'm fairly excited about starting back at my old facility.
I just now noticed that I have more blooms on my Rose of Sharon bushes! I love when they bloom. I'm wondering though if there may have been some cross pollenation going on because one bush was normally all white, and the other was normally all pink. Now my white bush has pink flowers growing on it. I haven't seen any white on the pink bush yet. Our daylilies are blooming like crazy, and the one plant in the middle is about to have a few blooms. I need to get some hanging plants for my hangers, and I know Jack wanted to get some solar lights.
