High on Possibility
I just finished sending emails to 4 graduate directors at the schools that I would LOVE to go to and they included:
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (History)
University of Texas at Austin (History)
University of South Florida (Sociology)
Harvard University (Sociology)
I know that the last one looks pretty crazy. I never thought that I would be considering Harvard as an option but it looks good on paper. It felt very satisfying sending that letter. It feels great to be one step closer.
Now I need to get some of my other things taken care of.
I need to study for the GRE which I plan on taking in mid-September.
I need to rewrite my letters for each school.
I need to let my professors know that I'm going to need letters of recommendation.
I need to write an abstract.
I need to read and write my Honors Thesis.
I need to relax and appreciate all of the effort that i have put in so far.
I want to get into all of the schools with full tuition packages.
I want to get a phenomenal GRE score. At the very least a 1350.
I want to win "Best Undergraduate Sociology Student".
I want to go to the Humanist Sociologists Conference and meet other kick-ass sociologists.
I want to write a fantastic Honors Thesis.
I am happy.
I am loved.
I have achieved so much.
I have so much more to achieve.
