So I'm back from Virginia/Washington DC. And while I had an absolute blast seeing everyone, it was so bloody hot that I felt a little bit like melted butter every day.

Picked up Dane Cook's Retaliation CD. God, that man is funny. Seriously, seriously funny. I listened to him on the plane ride home to forget about the fact that it will be a long time before I see most of my family again. Saying goodbye to my grandfather was very, very difficult.

So now I'm sitting at home, enjoying a 20 degree drop in temperature and gazing out over a perfect blue sky, wishing I could somehow share this with my multitude of cousins. I'm gearing up for a nice long drive with music blasting just because I haven't gotten to do that in a week. As beautiful as the East Coast can be, I'm glad to be home. I just wish that it didn't suddenly feel so...empty.

Day after tomorrow I leave for a two-day stay at Catalina. It's as close to paradise as I think it gets, and I'm very much looking forward to it. Again, however, I'm missing the craziness of 20 people and one house. And, of course, Nintendo.

Hell yeah.

Anyway, I've got to go take that drive now, but there will be more about the trip later. ADIOS! ♥♥♥
