More cake (3 of, um ... two? I can't count!)
I forgot to post about this cake last month!
I did this for a girl I never met, and never will. The Contra Costa Cake Club, of which I'm a member, does a lot of community work. One thing they do is make cakes for kids in foster care through the CASA program. Many of these kids have NEVER had a birthday cake (or celebration), and are often quite moved at the simple gift of a cake.
I finally got my turn last month. All I found out about this kid is that she was turning 12, and loves hip hop dancing. And her name, which is on the cake, but I won't type it here so that it isn't findable that way.
