what is there to say?

okay, life is omg so boring!

st. louis was fun. i drank with relatives. toured the brewery. saw the arch again. cubs lost the game that we were there. the weather got up to one hundred and fifteen with the heat index. sweated. hated the car ride because bree wouldn't stop asking when we would get there and auntie linda put in christian music and i almost fell out of my seat.

in and around st. louis, i read the following books: slightly single and slightly settled by wendy markham. i love everybody (and other atrocious lies) by laurie notaro.

jury duty was good. i liked it a lot. i sat in a room all day and read four books (the first two books in the chronicles of narnia: the magician's nephew and the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe; the latest fruits basket manga; and cold feet which had a pamie story!) and got paid 17.20 (and there's a chance that if i sign that over, i get a full day of work pay which is fifty bucks and much better!).

(that was a very long run-on sentence.)

um, my other bottom wisdom tooth is coming in and i have a dentist appointment on the eighteenth (four days before i go back: IMPROVEMENT!) to have it extracted as well as the upper wisdom tooth on the same side. the fourth and final tooth will come out either fall break or winter break (no way am i doing it during november!).

dark water sucked. if you've seen the ring, trust me, you've seen dark water.

i spent twenty bucks on text messaging this month. whoops? omg, i miss aim. WHY CAN'T IT BE SCHOOL YET?! I WANT MY COMPUTER HOOKED UP TO THE INTERNET! (my typing skills are going south and quickly. i can't tell you how often i've used backspace in this entry.)

rewarded my hard worked jury duty day with a shopping trip. i bought three dresses (one formal, one semi-formal and one that i can't decide if it's formal or semi-formal.) so i am set for the school year with dances. i also bought myself three books (laurie notaro's autobiography of a fat bride, we thought you'd be prettier, and the idiot girl's action-adventure club. she's like the female equivalent to david sedaris.) and the new tsubasa manga. squee!

i also bought a picture frame decorated with martini glasses. :D

and a few birthday presents. and christmas presents. and graduation presents.

gosh, it's nice to have money again to spoil my friends with.

i have sixteen more days of work and i leave for school in exactly three weeks. it cannot come fast enough. honestly, i really wouldn't mind sticking around here, but i am so done with work and i hate it. and my pants are getting a wee bit tight around the waist because of the good mommy cooked food.

now i'm going upstairs and into my nice air conditioned room now that you all have been updated in my oh-so-boring life.

books, family is not always blood
