first and foremost, i am procrastinating. therefore, this will be long.
second, happy valentine's day to y'all. even though i hate the holiday, i do love you guys and therefore, have a good one on me.
third, closest to one year ago today.
seems fitting almost. sig tau recruitment is starting tomorrow (molly mclaaaaaay, do it) and i can't believe that a year ago, i was just pledging and now i'm the president. that is so fucking weird. seriously.
joanna -- tom caught me delivering gift with otherkatie. so yeah. but of course, playing cupid made me really miss my boy. my non-boy. my boy of crushdomness. so, now i'm wallowing instead of doing my terkla paper.
i edited my novel tonight, from nano 2003, basically formatting it to look like a novel; changing the page setup and adding columns. it looks so wicked cool and i'm getting psyched for nanoedmo. i miss my nano chatroom and the magic that comes with it. nano 2004 just crossed the 70k mark today which means that it is so going to beat "second sight" in length, and i think also in quality.
first stats test has come and gone -- i got a 82 on it, which is awesome considering my test anxiety and a severe disappointment considering my love for stats. i screwed up a correlation, misreading it with my fantastic non-diagnosed number only dyslexia. yay? that lost me 10 points. so i should have fucking got a 92. grr. [reminder to self: talk to linda about this. make her at least aware of stupid mistakes that i will probably make.]
god, i should be writing my paper. or doing my dishes. or something productive.
i organized my computer today. deleted over three hundred files i didn't need anymore and put the rest of them where they actually belonged. i also got ahead in my women studies' class and watched a really horrible version of "king lear" in russian.
also found out that there are computers in the basement of ames. i so did not know that.
i can't decided if i'm happy or not. right now i'm tired.
so, i'm going to post the quizzes i found saved on my computer (in a lj-cut, of course) and then i'm off to write my damn paper.
