so long sweet summer.
hey all. i'm feeling talk-y today. just a warning.
so registration for dominican was last wednesday. i successfully registered for three classes, met my graduate program's secretary, got an email account, took a really bad id photo, turned in my graduate assistant paperwork, and found out i get 18,500 in loans to use as i see fit. all in all, it was a pretty good day.
the rest of the week was pretty boring, didn't do much.
saturday, however, became wicked busy when jessica called late-ish on friday night and informed me that i was coming with her to see "spelling bee." so we went and i did a little pre-shopping at borders. picked up "why moms are weird" by the great pamie, "the last five years" cd so i don't have to be an awful burned cd owner, and a new york times review book of "the best broadway of the last century."
then we ate at california pizza kitchen and then we went to the show. ricky's date -- laura (not my sister, clearly) -- was leaf's sister and got the erection song which means i know *two* people now. and that's not cool. jess and i decided we need to sign up to be spellers next time.
all in all: two thumbs up for the show. i enjoyed it thoroughly.
sunday, my sister and i watched all three lotr movies in order. and then we watched "the 4400" and then we put in "school of rock." i couldn't stop laughing while adam pascal was on the screen. like side splitting laughing. omg, hee! we going to replay his scenes tonight.
and today i worked an eleven hour day and then went to wal-mart and bought the new sarah mclachlan live album, the grey's anatomy soundtrack, the newish pearl jam, and fall out boy's album *finally.*
also today: my mother sent out my grad invitations. the only two i have left to send out are sippy's and mariano's because we ran out of stamps. and mariano already said he can't go. i sent everyone invites who sent me addresses/whose addresses i found. i am not putting this info up on the web. also? even if you said you couldn't come, i sent an invite in case things changed and to send an invite. mail = always fun.
