Had a very nice thanksgiving yesterday. Got up early and played computer games with Ian. Then at noon braved the dreadful weather to go to Bill's house. Everyone was still asleep when I got there, but my presence roused everyone. Sat around watching football. After the game we went over to Bill's parents place on Franklin St. It was very nice. Big open loft space. Played with Eliza, Bill's niece for a long time. She was really funny. At one point we tied a dish towel to her leg. She sat on a cushion and I pulled her around on the smooth hard wood floors. She was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed having Thanksgiving will Bill's family. Kyle joined us, which I didn't know was happening before hand. Brian showed up later too to have dessert and whatnot. Went back to Bill's and watched Dumb and Dumber...and then Nova, ha. Quite the contrast. Walked back in the rain and hung out with Ian for a while. Now I'm at fucking WORK. Going up to my Mom's after work to hang with my sis and other rad people.
One of my bands might be having our first show next Thursday in Bushwick. I'm hoping it comes off. We had a good practice on Wednesday, although I hurt my shoulder. Also really looking forward to recording in a couple weeks. And I really want to go to Chip's next week and play his wii. way bad. I'm considering buying into a gaming system of some sort. Probably a terrible idea, but would be nice way to pass the dreary winter.
