(no subject)
My nose has been hurting and has been swollen. Since I put my new ring in it has started healing, but I caught it slightly on my towel when I was drying off and it has since been sore. So, last night I was playing with my rat and decided it had been way too long since I had done anything with her nails. I have always been too scared to try and cut them, so I file them instead. Try filing a rat's nails, not very easy. Since it had been so long since I had done anything with them, she was not having it. I decided to get the clippers out and give it a try. I got a couple cut, but she was too pissed after already being messed with when I was trying to file them. I held her and calmed her down...or so I thought. She gets up on my shoulder as always and instead of sitting down or trying to bury herself in my shirt or hair, she walks straight over to my left side and bites my nose ring out. She used to nibble on my labret ring and the rings on my fingers, but she stopped that long ago. I cannot tell you the last time she has messed with my rings. It was messed up. As soon as I let her go, she walked right up to my ring and yanked it out...like take that for messing with my nails! It hurt too, especially since it was already sore. I got scared for a sec cause I thought maybe she tried to eat it. She didn't though. It was right there on the bed. All she did was just yank it out. Damn rat!
