Crazy...Amazing. :)
Firstoff I want to say; I AM SO THANKFUL FOR THE LONG WEEKEND!!! I was in a desperate want/need of a break from school/sports/etc etc.
Okay, so since I have last posted.. I have gone to a Jonas Brothers Concert!! IT WAS AMAZING. Best concert I have ever gone to, hands down. And it was crazy how I got to go. Well, Lindsay got invited to go by a friend on Sunday. And Courtney and I were like "Ohmygosh, you are so lucky!!!"And then on Monday when my Dad was driving to the doctors (to drop off my physical form) he was just randomly flipping through the channels, and happened to land on a channel where they were like "At 5 o'clock we are giving away Jonas Brothers tickets so call in!" He immendiately called me and told me about it. So I turned the radio on, had Lindsay,Courtney, Momma, and I all have the number ready to call, and waited about 10 minutes. Then it was the Jonas Brothers and they said "Hey, we've the Jonas Brothers and call in now to win tickets!" We all were calling like crazy while "You Belong With Me" played!
Then the song ended and you hear this older male go "Haha yes Jonas Brother tickets!" And I was like "is this guy being sarcastic or is he serious?" and then the DJ goes "Yeah, you won man!" and the guy goes "Awesome! My girls are going to be stoked!" And then I was like "aww, that's good. it's a dad at least." and the DJ goes "That's awesome, man. What's your name?" And then the guy goes "John -insertmylastnamehere-." AND COURNTEY AND MY MOUTHS DROPPED!!! AND YELLED "DADDY!!?!?!?" Then the DJ "And who made you the winner today?" And my Dad "-insert radio station here-!"
My Mom and Lindsay ran into my room when they heard us yell, and we told them, and they were in shock/happy for us. So we called my Dad and he was like "Yes, I really won. I won you guys two tickets!"
So that meant, that Courtney and I got to go to the concert now- which we did!!
I just wanna say with that, God provides. We couldn't afford the Demi concert or the Jonas Brother concert, yet we were all dying to go, and he made it possible for us to get to go in ways that are just amazing. I'm so thankful be serving such an awesome radically cool God!
Also, we got class ring information!!! AHHH.
It makes me feel so old! And then I feel bad, cuz' I'm like.. "Man I'm really immature for my age." :D
Oh, and working on a 5 page APUSH (ap us history) essay - TYPED! about the most important contrubition that John Adams did. It's a lot of writing and research, but I'm learning alot about him.
