Yay for spring.
Mmmm rain. Spring rain.
It's warm here and trees are budding. So beautiful. It will be slightly depressing when I get home and it's colder there than it's been here. But it will be good to be back in New England, for sure, and to see my beautiful ocean again.
Headquarters internship is almost over! I'm ready to leave and yet I'm not. I can't believe how fast the time flew by. 2 weeks from tomorrow, I will be on a plane headed back to good ole Plymouth, and be on my way to starting presentations for raising support- slightly scary!! But I'm actually excited because many of the people I've talked to have been really excited to hear about what I'm doing and are looking forward to meeting with me when I get home so that's encouraging. Even though I haven't actually begun to receive support from these people yet, it's just a blessing and a confirmation from God that I'm doing what He wants me to do because I've already received such a positive response. He is good.
The interns (minus Sarah :(, but she had fun being a science geek at some conference, I think?) went out to eat today (twice!), courtesy of Calvin, my advisor Cindy's husband. And we went shopping at the mall where I found an adorable outfit at Aeropostale: khaki pants, a peach polo shirt, brown flip flops, and a reversible handbag. Someone had sent me a check awhile back for spending money which I was very thankful for! So it felt nice to be able to buy myself some things. And, we all had gotten a color analysis on Wednesday, so I was very proud of myselt for buying an outfit today in the colors that compliment me. I am an Awesome Autumn. :) I totally thought I'd be a spring and wanted to be because spring colors are so way more fun, but I like being an Autumn. I think fall might be my favorite season (well, early fall, like sept.- oct.), and not just because that's my season. I always thought it was, but I have a tough time deciding between fall and spring. Spring is wonderful and comes at just the right time and I am certainly enjoying it right now, for sure. So beautiful.
I wanted to post pics but forgot my camera cord downstairs apparently. I'll do that this week.
