How about all those conversations you had via comments, or the huge post in ONTD that you spent all night commenting on. The 2008 Scrapbook Post is a way to help you remember all of that, in a single post.

■ Sharon: [trying to convince me to not do a Socials paper because instructions on it weren't clear] Come to the dark side. We have A's.

My sister: How long are you going to take [to study]?
Me: [in true Edward fashion] A while.
■ Breanna: [coming up with reasons as to why our group should win $5,000 for our charity] If you don't pick us, we'll brand you sexist.

Just because.
■ Me: Dad, mom's saying that he didn't make you ninong because you didn't clean up...boxes.
■ Me: [looking through chocolate] And the brand is... Governor's Choice?

■ Mom: [while entering Luxor, still remembering The Mummy ride in Universal] Immmmhooooteeeeeppp!
■ Me: [in high HP parody mode] Instead of "Alas, earwax", he goes "Aching, earwax!"
■ Junsu: My name is Junsu. My name is Robocop. My name is Junsucop. - Bigeaststation Episode 61
■ My sister: [while holding DVD case with Jaejoong on it] Ate, is it okay if I sleep with this tonight?
Me: ... [tries to get DVD out of sister's hands]
My sister: Get your hands off of him, there's four of them in there [indicates DVD box].
■ Sharon: I see him! [indicating Draco in a classroom scene] His hair is shining.
■ Navneet: If one of us will get kidnapped it'll be Jennine.
Me: [literally bounces in a way that just has me asking to be kidnapped]
■ Mrs. Henderson: [takes away "neiger" card, during conjugation game] We don't want anyone snowing.
Whole class: *laughs*
Lauren: *snorts really loudly*
Whole class: *laughs more*
■ Me: Wow, look at that random rockage.
■ Me: Punchhole, not holepunch. >_>
■ Me: [talking about Model UN] I wanted to be France, but a guy in a pink polo shirt was France.
Ms. Brett: That makes sense.

I don't make it, stupid nerves, but after a day I actually getoverit. Breaking Dawn comes out and succeeds in making me wish I didn't like Twilight in the first place. Midnight Sun leaks though, which serves as a bit of redemption. SM Town Liveee '08 = epic everything. Kyra's birthday party - all day at some lake I forgot the name of. Felice's debut! JANUARY Not all fancy, life-changing events last for more than an hour.

MAY Prepareprepareprepare.
JUNE There are times when making a big deal out of things that normally are made a big deal of is not necessary.

AUGUST There is such a thing as too much luck.
SEPTEMBER It really is difficult to go through with something for so long without passion. And this fact I'll never apply because I am dumb like that.
OCTOBER Do homework in advance. And do it often.
» getting to know my own self.
  • The importance of "the earlier the better" has never really dawned on me, except for when waking up.
  • I'm much more comfortable at performing on stage as a character, but without that layer I'm hopeless.
  • I know myself quite well. I mean, I know this, but now I've grown to appreciate it. I know who I am, who I wish to be, and what I hopelessly try to avoid (and know that I shouldn't do so).
  • I am sucker, repeat - SUCKER for cheesy ballads. Especially if there's great vocal prowess with the song. Then I melt.
  • I can be surprisingly loud when I don't want to be, and vice versa.
  • Caffeine can REALLY make me hyper.
  • I have a big, deep voice that people say just booms throughout the room. Why I haven't realized this, I don't know.
  • I really am a cave-dweller. The amount of time I spend not outside is amazing.
  • When I'm really serious, I look really pissed off and just have the "I won't bother with you" expression.
  • It's always sunny when I get really angry at the world. THe world doesn't agree with my angst.

    MOVIES
    Refer to THIS.

    001. ♥♥♥♥♥ [01/02] Nancy Drew.
To be honest, I just don't like Emma Roberts. I was surprised though, to see her fit in the part of Nancy well (but then, I haven't read the books). Enjoyable enough, I think.
    002. ♥♥♥♥♥ [01/02] Heartbreak Kid.
What the hell. Yes, I love Michelle Monaghan, and she's just so PRETTY. Doc and Michael I liked as well. Everything else - disappointment. Especially the ending. It makes me want to facepalm.
    003. ♥♥♥♥♥ [01/02] Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
Enjoyable, amusing, and witty. It makes me want to read the book more - the movie makes it look like it's better. But still, the movie's good - the main cast was great, especially Marvin.
    004. ♥♥♥♥♥ [01/02] Superbad.
I know I'm weird, but this kinds of movies I mainly ignore. I don't appreciate the humour often. HOWEVER, this movie becomes an exception at certain times. Bonus points to Michael Cera for being adorable. And the name McLovin, because it IS an awesome name.
    005. ♥♥♥♥♥ [01/03] The Last Mimzy.
It's just... blah. The little girl I found annoying, along with the parents. The plot left me hanging - at the end of the movie I was all "That's it?". I suppose it was a love/hate kind of movie.
    006. ♥♥♥♥♥ [01/03] The Bucket List.
It's not getting great reviews, but I loved it. I feel like it's missing something, as if there could've been more to the whole part of them going about their list. It's still inspiring and motivational - I adore movies like that. Also, I wish I'm a random trivia master as well.
    007. ♥♥♥♥♥ [01/04] The Transformers.
It lives up to the hype. Autobots FTW! Pure fun, and very entertaining. Shia was okay, Megan Fox was annoying, though unbelievably pretty. To be honest, I think the Autobots definitely outshined the human characters. There should've been more of them outside of the battle scenes.
    008. ♥♥♥♥♥ [01/05] Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium.
The plot! It needed to be so much better. The ending was too abrupt, there wasn't enough emphasis on some characters, and just - disappointing. It doesn't feel complete. HOWEVER, I loved Jason Bateman and Zach Mills. It's why the movie gets a 3.
    009. ♥♥♥♥♥ [01/06] Sydney White.
Oh so typical outspoken girl stands up for herself type of movie. The usual. Though I liked the character of Lenny because he is cute in a dorky way. Yes, call me shallow. I didn't have high expectations, which was good for a movie like this. Sara Paxton was awful as the villain - there could've been more comic potential if she was better.
    010. ♥♥♥♥♥ [01/10] The Last Legion.
Let me be shallow and say - the only reason I watched the film is because of Thomas Sangster (yes, I have the tendency to like guys who play... younger roles, because even if that's the case they're STILL older than me). He was quite convincing, and I really hope his career goes far. I liked the plot - definitely intriguing. It's a kid-friendly movie, though, and might be a bit boring to some, because of the lack of blood. I was content with it that way, though.
    011. ♥♥♥♥♥ [01/11] Tuck Everlasting.
Touching and inspiring. It's definitely light-hearted, the type of movie you'll watch when you need a break from more serious movies. The ending broke my heart - it's so bittersweet, and it had my mind debating all over the place.
    012. ♥♥♥♥♥ [01/12] Juno.
Another film that lives up to the hype. It's so cute and witty and great in its own way. The critic's are correct for praising Ellen Page - it's the first real movie I've seen her in, and I was impressed. And Michael Cera! I'm reeaaally starting to like him, and I'm anticipating his future movies more than I expected.
    013. ♥♥♥♥♥ [01/12] Chicago.
Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. I'm probably biased, considering I'm becoming this big Broadway musical fan, but really - it was brilliant. Much deserving of that Oscar. I can't get the "Cell Block Tango" out of my head.
    014. ♥♥♥♥♥ [01/21] 3:10 to Yuma.
Same as The Last Legion, except this time it's Logan Lerman (how HOT is the father-son duo? Seriously). Really good - I enjoyed it immensely. Ben Foster was badass.
    015. ♥♥♥♥♥ [01/27] Batman Begins.
Starting to sense a trend here? Heh. Christian Bale, of course, does not disappoint, and the supporting cast is the best supporting cast EVER. The bat mobile is also sodarncool.
    016. ♥♥♥♥♥ [02/01] Bee Movie.
Entertaining, and I've been in such a mood that the only thing I want to watch lately are animated movies. Definitely one of the better ones (second or third after Ratatouille in my list) - I also can't get over the fact that the animation was so pretty to look at!
    017. ♥♥♥♥♥ [02/02] The Golden Compass.
I didn't even like the book that much (well, I didn't think it was soawesome like others did) - and in ways, the movie made me appreciate the book more. To be honest, the movie was actually pretty good - visual wise, quite gorgeous, and there are some awesome performances. But the ending! The ending just killed it.
    018. ♥♥♥♥♥ [02/02] Alvin and the Chipmunks.
I know it was really bad, but I can't help but love the chipmunks and their cute little voices.
    019. ♥♥♥♥♥ [02/02] The Game Plan.
    020. ♥♥♥♥♥ [02/08]The Seeker: The Dark Is Rising.
I love Christopher Eccleston, I really do, but I think the role was completely wrong for him. Except, you know, when he was disguised as a doctor with awesome glasses in which I keep on thinking "ZOMG HE'S CHANNELING HIS NINE-NESS" and that he'll say "Fantastic!". And the end got me in total LULZ, because I actually predicted the ending and got it right. Must it be so Harry Potter-esque? Seriously.
    021. ♥♥♥♥♥ [02/14] Meet The Robinsons.
    022. ♥♥♥♥♥ [02/14] Persepolis.
    023. ♥♥♥♥♥ [02/14] Across The Universe.
Very unique and original and I love the songs, though I'm not even familiar with Beatles music. And Jim Sturgess is TODIEFOR. But yes, it's a MUSICAL, of course I love it! Evan Rachel Wood's character annoyed me, though, and the blandness of the story only gives the movie a four.
    024. ♥♥♥♥♥ [02/15] Elizabeth: The Golden Age.
WHY is Cate Blanchett so amazing?
    025. ♥♥♥♥♥ [02/15] Flushed Away.
    The slugs were awesome. XD
    026. ♥♥♥♥♥ [03/01] No Reservations.
    027. ♥♥♥♥♥ [03/14] The Wild.
    028. ♥♥♥♥♥ [03/15] Step Up 2.
    029. ♥♥♥♥♥♥ [03/15] Shrek 2.
    030. ♥♥♥♥♥♥ [03/15] Shrek 3
    031. ♥♥♥♥♥ [03/25] Jumper.
Maybe the fact that I kept on wishing Tom Sturridge was on the screen instead of Hayden Christensen didn't help, but I really did not like this. Rachel Bilson was quite annoying, too - her worst role so far. Jamie Bell was really the only saving grace.
    032. ♥♥♥♥♥ [03/27] Chaos.
I liked it - though I actually kind of predicted what would happen. Still, very interesting. Ryan Philippe wasn't so bad.
    033. ♥♥♥♥♥ [04/04] 21.
Jim Sturgess had me captivated throughout the whole film, despite his accent slipping. I still forgive him, for he is Jim Sturgess. A very fun, Friday-movie-night-out kind of flick.
    034. ♥♥♥♥♥ [05/02] August Rush.
Adorable. Brilliant music as well. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that the voice of Uniqua from "The Backyardigans" (what's her real name again?) sang in the Oscar-nominated song. Her voice is so distinct, it's awesome.
    035. ♥♥♥♥♥ [05/18] The Other Boleyn Girl.
    036. ♥♥♥♥♥ [05/30] The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian.
I have not fangirled over this movie as much as I wish. It doesn't disappoint, especially on the eye-candy front, but at times I felt like it was trying too hard to be funny. I suppose it's what you get from Andrew Adamson - after all, there was Shrek 2. I still prefer the first, though if I want to go on a fangirling high I'm definitely picking this one to watch.
    037. ♥♥♥♥♥ [06/06] Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
    038. ♥♥♥♥♥ [06/14] Untraceable.
    039. ♥♥♥♥♥ [06/17] Definitely, Maybe.
    040. ♥♥♥♥♥ [06/17] 27 Dresses.
    041. ♥♥♥♥♥ [07/12] The Spiderwick Chronicles.
Very fun and family-friendly - I really liked it. And seriously, can Sarah Bolger get any more gorgeous? The American accents were pretty impressive, too, and the two Freddies.
    042. ♥♥♥♥♥ [07/20] Made of Honor.
Ahhh Michelle Monaghan WHY ARE YOU SO PRETTY?
    043. ♥♥♥♥♥ [07/20] Be Kind, Rewind.
    044. ♥♥♥♥♥ [07/21] Attack on the Pin-Up Boys.
    045. ♥♥♥♥♥ [08/06] Nim's Island.
    046. ♥♥♥♥♥ [08/19] The Forbidden Kingdom.
    047. ♥♥♥♥♥ [08/25] College Road Trip.
    048. ♥♥♥♥♥ [08/31] Kung Fu Panda.
I don't remember being this entertained by a movie in a long while.
    049. ♥♥♥♥♥ [09/02] Penelope.
    Guh, James McAvoy. GUH.
    050. ♥♥♥♥♥ [09/04] Meet Bill.
It did nothing much for me, and I liked it, but I don't really really like it. Logan Lerman in general, however, gives this two out of five.
    051. ♥♥♥♥♥ [09/07] Hancock.
I really liked it. Really. It's that fantasy element thrown in, I swear. It's kind of bringing my muse back.
    052. ♥♥♥♥♥ [09/13] Horton Hears A Who.
    053. ♥♥♥♥♥ [10/11] Get Smart.
    054. ♥♥♥♥♥ [10/13] The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor
    055. ♥♥♥♥♥ [10/24] High School Musical 3: Senior Year.
    LUCAS GRABEEL MARRY ME.
    056. ♥♥♥♥♥ [11/15] Madagascar 2: Escape To Africa.
IDK, I just really enjoy animated movies - they're so fun.
    057. ♥♥♥♥♥ [11/21] Journey to the Center of the Earth.
    058. ♥♥♥♥♥ [11/22] Twilight.
Yes, this gets two hearts because a tiny part of me still has that Twilight fangirl from a year ago. But I didn't come in with high expectations and the movie didn't prove itself otherwise either.

    DOCUMENTARIES
I know that they pretty much count as movies, but I don't really think so. Besides, I'm making a goal to watch more of these than movies. I find them fascinating. xD
