help! baby looks like ... a massive wall?

My Sim recently decided to take the plunge into motherhood and "tried for baby" with Matthew Hamming in the elevator of the Brightmore. When she walked out of the hospital, it looked like she wasn't carrying anything in her arms but when I scrolled out there was a massive wall that is, apparently, her newborn daughter. The image for the Sim is just a green block. And I can't interact with it because it's so massive I can't click on it to do anything - I can just put her down and that's it.

Help! Do I just wait for the social worker to take the child away (since I can't feed or change her) or is there a fix for this?
