I'm sorry to post again so soon, but I just need to know how to get rid of the latest patch (if possible). It makes my load times ridiculous, and the game moves so slowly now. I'd set it on fire if that was possible, but it's not, so I'll settle for deleting something.

As far as I know the only way to get rid of patches is to reinstall. I think the patches affect both game files and registry entries so it would be a fairly painstaking process to delete and replace files + edit the registry. I don't know that there is even a guide to doing this sort of thing. Generally the advice I have seen to get rid of a patch is to reinstall the whole game because patching affects it at such a core level.
