It's been forever since I updated. Just a quick note, cuz Karl's needing me, and my supper break is almost over.
Lee's Landing is open! I can't believe how much work was crammed into three weeks, and how it has all come together. The only thing that would make it better would be to have everyone here with us--Darren, Daniel, and my Ben.
Ben, I'm sorry we've been so apart these last few days, what with me having to do so much here. I hope you forgive me, babe. I miss you bunches. I feel like we haven't talked in days! And that's driving me crazy.
Talked with Brooke some in email today and she's excited about coming, and I think her friend Bryan who she is dragging along (LOL) is looking forward to it. I want to show him a good time, get him out to meet some people. I have promised Karl I will NOT play matchmaker for either one of them. And I won't, I won't. Except there's a couple of people that I think might really enjoy both of them...but I won't, I won't. I promise.
But if they accidently meet...especially our pastry chef, Jace. I thought he was straight, thought he'd be someone Brooke would like but...no no no, guess what? He is really cute, too--dang it. I would never have known, really, that he was gay.
Sure are alot of gay people working here.
I'm still determined to buy a horse but I'm wondering when will I have time to ride it?
